Duty of Care – Management Awareness Workshop - 16th March 2016
This one day workshop provides managers and organisational leads with an understanding of what ‘Duty of Care’ responsibilities and liabilities exist and what impact they can have on the organisation, and individuals within it. The workshop is suited for those organisations that operate in difficult and at times hostile environments but equally those countries where the risks may not be as obvious but where they still exist.
The workshop has been designed to enable attendees to better understand their responsibilities and to provide guidance on how to correctly deliver a quality ‘Duty of Care’ that protects staff, reduces risks and clearly demonstrates an organisation’s commitment to its personnel.

Andy Davis is a recognised expert in security, risk and crisis management in difficult and hostile environments. Having worked and ensured the wellbeing of staff and organisations in countries as diverse as Uganda, Colombia, Pakistan and Kazakhstan Andy is able to bring a wealth of experiences and knowledge to the workshop that is difficult to be matched by others.
In addition to international operational experiences, Andy is a regular speaker at international security and risk management conferences as well as contributing to international trade publications. He holds a MSc.in Security and Risk Management, is a Chartered Security Professional, a Fellow of the Security Institute and a board certified protection professional (CPP) in the United States.
Based on Aycliffe Business Park, Trident Manor utilises in house facilities to deliver the workshop and associated training programmes. Due to the ease of connectivity with road, rail and airport services the facilities offer a professional and comfortable environment in which to learn. Nearby there is a wide range of suitable hotel accommodation that caters for all budgets.
