Staff visited organisations in Switzerland that are involved in the management and handling of very sensitive data.

Members of Trident Manot travelled to Switzerland on the 19th of October to visit venues involved in the management and handling of very sensitive data.

Meetings were held with senior managers and those directly involved in operational activities. A review was undertaken of governance and detailed operational practices including storage and destruction of data. Sites were visited and technical systems were tested to ensure that they worked as they should and that no gaps or vulnerabilities existed.

It is important that an awareness of local laws and practices is known, understood, and considered as a part of a proactive solution. Proactive engagement that includes discussions across the workforce, visiting sites, and testing of systems is a great way of ensuring the protection of organisational assets.
