The Trident Manor team were honoured to visit Perth in March 2024 to deliver the CPD-certified Introduction to Protection of Cultural Venues training to members of the Perth and Kinross cultural sector.

In attendance at the training were some of the brand-new front-of-house team for the new Perth Museum, who were enthusiastic to learn about the protection of cultural heritage ahead of the venue's opening this month. The session included an introduction to the threats that museums can face and how they manifest, as well as operational measures that can be taken to pre-emptively reduce the risk of incidents occurring.

It is great to see museums proactively train their teams to be aware and prepared for their roles from a protective perspective. This is the most effective way to foster a healthy security culture early on, and we applaud their initiative.
