Delivery of Accredited Risk Assessment Programme

Trident Manor has delivered our accredited security risk assessment training programme to the senior management team of a multi-purpose entertainment venue in central Manchester which enables them to proactively assess and manage the security risks that exist.
On Wednesday the 2nd of October 2024 the Trident Manor team delivered our CPD Accredited ‘Introduction to Security Risk Assessing’ programme to members of the senior management team of a Manchester based client. The client is involved in multiple entertainment and hospitality activities including theatre productions, cinemas, art gallery, restaurants, and conferencing facilities.
The purpose of the training was to help enable the proactive protection of the organisational assets (tangible and intangible) through increasing the knowledge and understanding of the security risk management and assessment process. The programme helped the delegates better understand the complex threats that their venue could face, not just from adversarial sources, how the threats can manifest themselves, and how to undertake a basic threat, risk, and vulnerability assessment.
The delegates undertook threat and risk identification exercises, practical demonstrations of creating ‘security in depth’, and an actual vulnerability exercise of a real venue. The feedback was excellent, and all delegates identified how beneficial the training programme was, causing many to reevaluate their approach to risk management activities.
