Join us for a night to remember at the Gala Dinner hosted by the International Arts and Antiquities Security Forum. The dinner will be held in the 17th-century Jacobean Hall at Redworth Hall Hotel, County Durham.

The IAASF 2023 is excited to announce the Gala Dinner taking place at Redworth Hall Hotel, County Durham on the evening of Tuesday 12th September 2023. We welcome both delegates and non-delegates to the IAASF Conference 2023 to enjoy a night to remember in the venue's beautiful 17th-century Jacobean Hall. 

The Gala Dinner includes pre-seating drinks followed by a three-course dinner, accompanied by wine. A ceremony will be held for the finalists of the CPAs (Cultural Protection Awards) as well as fundraising activities including an Art Auction and Raffle where proceeds will go to support the protection of Ukraine's cultural heritage.

On the run-up to the Gala Dinner, art by (hopefully) famous and not-so-famous individuals will be auctioned in support of the Ukrainian cultural heritage sector that has been, and continues to be devastated by the conflict. Other fundraising activities will take place before and during the Gala Dinner for this great cause. The television personality, 'The Yorkshire Auctioneer', Angus Ashworth, will be providing light-hearted entertainment during the Gala Dinner with banter and witty stories around auctioneering and his new television series 'The Yorkshire Auction House'. Angus will also be hosting the art auction and other fundraising activities throughout the evening.

During the Gala Dinner, an award ceremony recognising individuals, organisations, or initiatives that have demonstrated cultural protection activities worthy of recognition will take place. There are four categories of the CPAs (Cultural Protection Awards) and all finalists will receive access to the IAASF Conference and a framed award, with the winner being presented with a CPA trophy.
