Our Managing Director flew to Iceland to undertake an unannounced audit of a business on behalf of a global organisation to ensure compliance and the meeting of standards.

Between the 2^nd and the 4^th of December 2024, Trident Manor’s managing director flew to Iceland to undertake an unannounced audit of a business to ensure they were compliant with the international standards set by a global customer based in Arizona, USA.

It was appropriate to observe the activities being undertaken before approaching the business and declaring himself to the in-country team. Despite being caught by surprise, the company's senior management team was able to work through the audit process and answer every question, as well as demonstrate and have his team demonstrate effective service delivery.

Andy commented, “A positive result is not always finding faults or mistakes. Where these have been previously identified and fixed means that the assessed organisation has learnt and tightened up procedures and practices.” “Our approach to security risk management is always “Proactive prevention instead of reactive response.”

A little bird informed us that Andy got into the Christmas spirit by having a hearty bowl of seafood soup followed by a reindeer burger, sorry Bambi!
