PSSW Course Delivered in Mexico City
Tuesday, 1st April 2025
Trident Manor was invited to Mexico City to deliver the CPD-certified Personal Safety and Security Workshop (PSSW) for the local branch of a global organisation.

Over the course of 6 days, over 80 delegates took part in the workshop, which was delivered in Spanish and tailored to the needs of the organisation. The vital theoretical foundations of personal safety and security were introduced, followed by the teaching of real-life case studies, practical exercises, and valuable group discussions. By beginning with theoretical frameworks and demonstrating their uses through various other learning methods, the content of the course is much more easily understood and retained.
The course focuses on conflict identification and avoidance, which are viewed as key tools for keeping staff safe. Elements of conflict management were also incorporated to suit the requirements of the organisation in the context of Mexico City, and these were developed in alignment with the client’s requests before the visit.
The feedback collected after the workshops was positive and demonstrated the importance security training, not only for teaching and reinforcing valuable skills, but also for creating a space where experiences can be shared and learned from. Some of the feedback said that the training helped with: “Knowing how to manage potential high-risk situations” and “[giving] the tools for staying alert and being able to react more effectively against violence.”
The need for accredited training is growing, and it is great to see international organisations responding to this and taking proactive steps towards keeping their staff safe. If you would like to find out more about our security programmes, please get in touch with us.
