Our Managing Director was involved in a security design project for a major cultural venue in Devon.
During November 2023 our Managing Director was involved in a security design project for a major cultural venue in Devon. This required pre-arrival research to be undertaken to know and understand what security measures existed, what was needed, and the project status.
Andy was able to meet the client team fully prepared and having just undertaken an unannounced site visit was able to contextualise the discussions. During the meeting, physical and technical security design recommendations were made alongside the operational requirements and actions needed to be compliant with the required standards.
Daytime and nighttime physical evaluations were undertaken as was liaison with staff and an evaluation of crimes in the local area. (A partial CPA β Crime Pattern Analysis was delivered by the Trident Manor team.) Andy said, βIt is important to assess the day and nighttime setting of venues as their characteristics change so much. Night reviews should always be carried out by consultants.β
On his return to Darlington, a full report with recommendations was prepared and shared with the client. Due to the quality of work delivered to the client, additional consultancy work has been received and our scope expanded.
It is always great to keep customers happy and receive positive feedback, especially when it is in the form of additional work which demonstrates not only a degree of happiness but also a confidence that a quality service is delivered.
