Trident Manor provide advice on physical and technical security measures for consideration during an industrial museum's refurbishment
The Trident Manor team were invited to undertake a site visit at a small local industrial museum in December 2023, in preparation for the upcoming refurbishment of its buildings and an update of the alarm systems.
The museum exhibits Victorian industrial equipment in its original plant buildings, as well as artefacts of social history in the venue’s showroom. These items, although not of high financial value, are very valuable in the community and have great historical significance.
During the visit, the Trident Manor team were pleased to provide advice on practical and affordable physical measures to increase the protection of the museum’s assets. The team was also able to offer guidance on effective technical improvements based on the scope provided by the security system installers, taking into consideration the venue’s financial and regulatory limitations.
The primary benefit of being involved at this stage of the refurbishment and technical installation is that security advice can be considered and incorporated ahead of any design changes, reducing costs in the long run.
