Security Visit in Southeast Scotland

Trident Manor conducted a security review on a small local heritage centre in the southeast of Scotland.

The client recognised the need for a security review ahead of the opening of a new temporary exhibition. The new exhibits will include artworks by several notable Scottish artists, providing a great attraction for visitors to the small venue.

As well as being an excellent opportunity for the client, the new installation of artworks by well-known artists has the potential to change the risk profile of the heritage centre.

As is the case for many small local venues, resource and personnel restrictions may limit the security provisions available, which is something that consultants and suppliers need to take into account when offering solutions.

We were delighted to be able to visit the site and provide a report with practical recommendations for the venue, both for the new exhibition and for the longer-term security considerations.

The recommendations were listed as physical, technical, and operational; with different levels of priority so that the client has the ability to consider them effectively before the opening of the new exhibition.

Trident Manor uses this approach to facilitate time and resource allocation towards the actioning of recommendations and suggestions.

As always, a small site such as this has a unique context with individual challenges. Trident Manor are proud to be able to support sites such as these which can have such a positive impact on the local community.
