Having been selected as the security consultancy of choice for the redevelopment of the Irish Natural History Museum in Dublin, it was great to finally visit the site with others.

Site Visit - Redevelopment Project - Natural History Museum -Dublin

Trident Manor is proud of the fact that we are increasingly being chosen as the specialist security consultancy of choice by architectural firms with the responsibility of redeveloping museums and historical cultural sites. During this visit, it was important to evaluate the plans against what exists in reality on the ground. It was also a great opportunity to discuss broader protective measures whereby risk acceptance levels were better understood after seeing the situation on the ground.

Andy Davis, our managing director, commented, " It is so important that a site visit is undertaken and the threats, risks, and vulnerabilities correctly assessed during any redevelopment." "If a consultant says they can undertake a meaningful assessment without visiting the site, especially when it is a redevelopment project I would be very concerned."

The visit allowed not only the risks to be assessed but also the existing protective security measures that exist. This will result in more accurate recommendations and cost-effective solutions to be suggested and designed into the project, which not only helps reduce costs but also ensures that the venue is better protected.

We are looking forward to working on this project and many others around the world and enabling the protection of our global cultural assets.
