On Monday 3^rd June 2024, the Trident Manor Training Academy (TMTA) team welcomed representatives from Mexico and Spain for the first-ever Spanish edition of the Introduction to the Protection of Cultural Venues programme.

The training was delivered online for cultural sector professionals in the Spanish-speaking world wanting to understand how to better protect cultural heritage for future generations, either for professional reasons or out of personal interest.

The course drew from theoretical knowledge and real-life case studies from Europe and Latin America to illustrate the range of threats that can impact cultural venues and the actions that can be taken to mitigate their risks.

Hannah Miller who delivered the training has said: “It's a pleasure to be able to open up our training programmes to other parts of the world via the use of different languages, and this is something we hope to expand on in the future. The feedback from this session has been extremely positive and the engagement from the attendees was excellent. Thank you to everyone who participated”.

El lunes 3 de junio de 2024, Trident Manor Training Academy (TMTA) dio la bienvenida a representantes de México y España en el primer curso de Introducción a la Protección de Espacios Culturales en español.

Esta capacitación se presentó online para profesionales del sector cultural de países de hispanohablantes interesados en aprender cómo mejorar la protección del patrimonio cultural para las generaciones futuras, ya sea por motivos profesionales o por interés personal.

El curso hizo referencia a conocimientos teóricos y casos reales de Europa y Latino América para mostrar la variedad de amenazas que pueden impactar a los espacios culturales, y las acciones que se pueden tomar para mitigar sus riesgos.

Hannah Miller, quien presentó el curso, dijo: "Es un placer poder abrir nuestros cursos de capacitación a otras partes del mundo a través de diferentes idiomas, y esto es algo que queremos ampliar en el futuro. Los comentarios que hemos recibido de esta sesión han sido muy positivos y la colaboración de los asistentes fue excelente. Gracias a todos los participantes."
