People engaged in the hospitality sector face multiple threats from visitors and guests at their establishments. Trident Manor's CPD Accredited programme relating to personal safety and security is much sought after and was delivered in Manchester.

The Trident Manor team visited Manchester in early January to deliver training for a longstanding client to support their efforts in keeping their staff safe.

Following a programme whereby permanent members of customer-facing staff were trained in various workplace security skills, a Personal Safety and Security Workshop was delivered to hospitality sector staff, who deal with members of the public on a regular basis.

This training is aimed at increasing levels of alertness and vigilance to potentially harmful situations through proactive identification and management. The desired approach is to proactively avoid conflict as far as possible instead of managing a conflict situation where harm is more likely to occur.

Hospitality staff are faced with new threatening situations every day, especially in spaces where alcohol is served, it is important to be able to pre-emptively identify potentially dangerous situations and mitigate any potential risks before they become unmanageable and injuries are caused.

These programmes have been delivered globally and we are proud to be able to support organisations in keeping their staff and customers safe.
