Trident Manor Managing Director Attends ASIS Cultural Properties Council Meeting in Chicago - GSX 2019
Sunday, 22nd September 2019
ASIS International is at the forefront of security risk management activities and it's Councils in particular draw upon the skills, knowledge and expertise of its members to assist the wider communities. The Cultural Properties Council was able to meet in person and with others from around the world dialing in to discuss the latest topics and future strategies.
Andy Davis, was able to attend GSX (Global Security Exchange) 2019 in Chicago where he had the pleasure of meeting other members of the ASIS Cultural Properties Council and discussing future goals and strategies. The meeting was very well attended and had other members from around the world dialing in for the discussions, one of our members even sent some Belgium chocolates for us to enjoy; thanks Ibrahim. A huge that you to Doug Beaver who has led the Council for the last 2 years and I look forward to taking over in January 2020 knowing that he, and the previous Council leaders have done a magnificent job in making this one of the most proactive and internationally diverse Councils across ASIS.
As with previous years the Council members joined thousands of our colleagues from across the spectrum of security specialists in attending educational sessions, exhibition halls and of course networking opportunities. A great event that was topped off by accepting an award on behalf of one of our colleagues, Holly Ross, who unfortunately could not travel to accept it herself. A huge well done to Holly, a shining example of what a true Young Professional should strive to be.
