Trident Manor visit Security Panel Manufacturers
Friday, 23rd August 2024
Members of the Trident Manor team had the pleasure of visiting the head offices of Securiclad Limited and having lengthy discussions Joe Rowan and Kristina Lightburn about the manufacturing process and use of LPS 1175-rated modular panels that range from SR2 (B3) up to LPS 1175 SR5 (E10).
There must be an understanding of the different products that are available to protect clients' assets while complying with national and international standards. As well as visiting Expos and Conferences to get an understanding of security-rated products, it is great if you can see behind the scenes and experience first-hand the processes that take place and the manufacturing environment where products are made. It also demonstrates to consultants that the manufacturer has nothing to hide and that they have faith in their own products.
Hannah Miller, Junior Security Consultant for Trident Manor, was especially pleased to take part in the visit:
“As a Junior Consultant, or anyone continuing their learning journey in security, it is important to understand the manufacturing process of security products and examine how and why they work. I was able to see an example of a modular panel that had been attacked under test conditions and had retained its integrity sufficiently to achieve LPS 1175 D10 rating. I saw the difference between a security-rated and a non-security-rated panel, I know where I would want my assets. It was great to learn about Securiclad and a huge thanks to Kristina and Joe.”
