Arts Council England (ACE) has released updated Security Advice to support cultural organisations in the protection of their assets.

After a formal review of the previous advice with security experts, the new guidance will be applicable to the current challenges cultural venues are facing, and has been designed to ensure that it is practical and proportionate.

The newly amended content covers areas of physical, technical and operational security for the cultural sector to refer to - from the design stages of a venue or exhibition, through to the ongoing asset protection by in house teams. It includes references to Museum Accreditation and Government Indemnity Scheme (GIS) where applicable.
