Visits to Cultural Venues, UK
Tuesday, 19th September 2023
Trident Manor continue to support cultural venues both across the UK and internationally through the delivery of our specialised Cultural Protection Services.
Over the past two months, Trident Manor has been involved in several visits to cultural venues across the United Kingdom. These visits have involved working collaboratively with governmental bodies, heritage organisations, and private individuals.
The threats that each faced differed greatly and included opportunistic threats. One being where the artefacts were not sufficiently secured and easy to remove, and another where the risk from criminals was increased due to the isolated location of the venue. Finally, in one city two venues were visited, one of which was a security design project and the other an evaluation to assess the suitability for loans from National Collections.
Knowing and understanding the threats that exist enabled the Trident Manor team to undertake effective evaluations that led to proactive solutions being proposed and design considerations being made. Andy Davis, the Managing Director of Trident Manor said, “It is always great looking at cultural properties with their character and exhibitions because no two venues are the same and while there may be threats that are similar the risks will always be the same.”
Trident Manor continues to deliver quality services to the Cultural Heritage sector and is seen as an expert in this particular field. If we can help you protect your cultural assets why not in this particular field? If we can help you protect your cultural assets, feel free to contact us.
